That's how they get people. Ditto for any other "free" or "heavy discounted special" with a cellular connection. They want you locked into $20 a month line fees. It is borderline fraudulent, IMO.

All I know is that the line access fee is 9.99 on each phone regardless of subsidized or not. My line has been month to month for awhile. I am not on the more everything plan. I am assuming my line access that won't change with the 28 payment plan but I'll wait till the morning and call them. Funny thing is my wife subsidized her phone back in a May and I can't find anywhere on the bill where I'm paying extra for her phone.

I see. You were referring to Mooncat getting the Stylo at an almost free price. Downright deceptive.

I used to think this. Not sure if that was changed again or I read the fine print wrong, because now it looks to me like you can pay it off but just have to keep the line active.

Just got off the phone with them and I was right with a small catch. You can't purchase full retail outright. You have to purchase on DPP. When you get it and send in the traded in phone, wait until you get the confirmation that the trade in value is approved and then you can pay it off.

The rep said this is because they have to make sure the phone you send them is correct and fully qualifies before issuing the credits.

I got transferred to 4 different Verizon reps this morning trying to order this damn phone since my internet order last night never processed! No one could do full retail until the 4th rep...what the hell?! Was on phone for 2 hours to get full retail order processed! I had 2 Note 7s (recalled and recalled replacement), and now I'm going thru hell with this LG phone. I am such a cell phone hater at this point...way too much stress, time, and money wasted. Never should have left my Note 4, and this LG phone already feels tainted to me. I get it tomorrow morning.

I had the exact same problem, I posted in the other verizon thread. My internet order did not process in their system, even though I had email confirmation and everything. Spent almost the whole day straightening it out.
