I think a requirement of superphones is a 1 ghz or faster processor? In which case, it won't be.
Not that it really matters, of course.
What if my Droid is running at 1ghz? Also, VZW is selling a lot of Droids (at least in my area) so they are probably in no rush to push out something new.
