Version of the Moto X with bigger than 4.7'' in screen?

I have a maxx too and still love it but I'll wait to see what the new Moto is like compared to the G3

My last phone was a note 2 and I was fine with the size. I chose moto x for the software experience and innovative tech under the hood, I am less sensitive to the ergonomics of the device.

If they make the MX with battery close to the Maxx & a screen 5" or less I'm on it.

Just saw a rumored report saying screen may be 5.2"....ugh, hope not. Hate this trend of massive phones...

Sadly, I think Moto has to go to 5.2" in order to better compete.

I think 5" would still be competitive. I don't think that they would gain a lot more customers going to 5.2"

I suspect the Moto X+1 is essentially going to look like the LG G2 with the Moto E/G/X design language out back. When compared to the S5 (5.1") and One M8 (5.0"), it would probably still be the smaller phone physically overall.

I know lots would disagree, as we have discussed before, but a moto x with similar ergonomics as the original and size to the g2 would be perfect for me. As long as all the feature and experience check boxes are checked, it would be a day 1 purchase for me. The only thing preventing this would be gimped storage or some other crucial spec.

It's pretty easy to be smaller than the m8. For a 5" screen the phone is huge.

The m8 is proof that screen size has little to do with device size. I soule probably own one if it was not so ridiculously massive compared to screen real-estate and had the power button on top. I still love me some HTC hardware and software, but there are some things I refuse to put up with.

I would rather have the Moto line ergonomics in the DROID MINI size.

No doubt. M8 is pretty large for the screen size and s5 has physical keys where x+1 should have on screen keys
