Very frustrated after update please help

Ok now when I get a text message it vibrates twice. I only need one vibrate. Thought I could change this to choose a short or long vibrate etc. Am I missing this? I've looked in settings for sounds and in message app and can't find it

I've noticed it vibrating for things it wouldn't vibrate for before.

Only way is to download a 3rd party texting app. I use Textra and it's ok. Allows me to change vibration to different settings...

We shouldn't have to have a third party app to pick vibration length. I like my one but after coming from a S3 and a nexus 4, sense had me confused. Safe to say I won't be getting another HTC phone again.

I agree we shouldn't have to. I don't like using 3rd party apps if I don't have to. But in this case, you do.

I dont use vibrate at all an never have. Will this affect me also once i do get 4.3? Or even with all vibrations turned off it still does it regardless?
