Very happy so far - blue s9+

I'm a habitual phone changer. Most recently have had a pixel 2 XL and a long time iPhone user (including the 8 plus and X).

The s9+ is blazing fast. I love the screen and I really am happy with the front facing speakers. I love taking selfies so that jury is still out.

My most welcome change is the upgrade in sound quality when using headphones. One of my biggest gripes is the pixel and older Galaxy models didn't get as loud as iphones with headphones but this seems to have changed with the s9! Hoping I keep this one for awhile

I 2nd that I've been using my 9+ fully and putting it threw numerous paces and thus far its handled everything lagless I do feel like this years improvements are making a difference in my usage coming from an 8+. The ultimate test is over time I'll see how it ages.

I completely agree. I swap phones constantly. Just this year I have had the iPhone 8 plus, iPhone X, Note 8 and now the S9 plus. I always end up with a dozen or phones a year. I'm really hoping this one I can keep a while. As does my wife. Lol

I have had the same exact phones. I have not pulled trigger on s9 yet though. How do you rate it vs all of those?

Hard actually their all so different. I preferred the 8 plus to the X actually. I didn't like the notch at all. Made watching videos hard for me. And battery life was better on the 8 plus. I'd rate the Note 8 above both of those for me anyway but battery life was worse than the iPhone 8 plus. So far it's like the S9 plus for me is a combination of all those. Battery life is stellar. Love the screen.

I do for sure. I'm getting just shy of double battery life using my phone the same as my note 8. I hovered around 3-4 hrs of SOT. Now I average around 6 hrs. Here's today's screen shot.

Completely agree with the whole post, the speakers sound better than expected and the whole better quality from bluetooth headphones/speakers was also unexpected but VERY VERY welcome

I have the s9. Damn this thing is fast. It just flies. I'm coming from the s8 and the s8 always had some stutters. Not the s9. And the camera is really something. This is the phone for me. I wish it was as light as the s8 tho. That's my only wish.

Also exactly same experience! Note 8 was barely 4 hours SOT and S9+ is 6 hours SOT (both using them the same way everything on, auto brightness, streaming video or sound via BT a lot). I expect the s9+ battery to get worse over a few months but hopefully not too much.

Weird thing is that AccuBattery app says my estimated capacity is 95% and close to 3300 mAh.

I also have the blue s9plus. this phone is incredible, I'm coming from an S6. the battery life is amazing.
