My Samsung S8 decided to give up so needing something quickly I bought a G7 power for a bargain £140, thinking it'd do for a week until I picked up something long term. Well, a week later I've changed my mind. The G7 Power is snappy and the battery lasts me at least two days with a frankly insane SOT of eleven or twelve hours. While the S8 is getting on a bit it should still out perform a £140 device with a midrange processor, it doesn't.

My days of picking up flagships is over, think I'm just going to buy a Moto power every year.

I found myself doing the exact same thing, my 8+ was cracked badly on the glass back, and just a little on the front, the battery was lasting less and less and it seemed quite slow even after cleaning up the apps and background junk.
I saw new Samsung phones and Pixels for more than $1,000 and thought how foolish it was to pay so much. I looked at the g7 power and the only thing I saw that it lacked was wireless charging. It lasts days without charging and is noticeably faster. I bought a new laptop with the savings!

For the price, this is the best bargain phone on the market.

Thanks

The only negative about this phone for me is that the camera is poor in low light.

Otherwise, this is a great phone.

Thanks

just came over from Samsung and love this phone. don't think I will be going back soon. this phone is great for 129.00.

To me, the only problem was last of NFC. I am used to making payments with my phone quite often.

This is the one problem that I have with the phone. Now, I don't regularly take photos or video in low light. But it is particularly bad in low light.

It certainly is impressive for the money. People scoff at the specs but you don't need a top tier processor when you're running near vanilla Android.

That is true. And depending on what your usage is, the processor is more than adequate. I play games on my G7 Power and they play just fine. Now I'm not playing Call of Duty or anything like that.

I am still very happy with this phone.

I am surprised it is not extremely popular.

I think that people get caught up in specs instead of the user experience. Motorola makes great quality smartphones and they are really affordable.
