Something's wrong then. It shouldn't take that long only supposed to take 90 mins till full but it will slow as the battery gets fuller.

Mine has done the same thing twice, coinciding with the phone getting warm. Unplugging the cable and plugging it back in restores proper charge rate and the phone cools down even while still charging.

Personally it happened to me the USB cable was not fully in the power adapter.

Mine seems to do it with usage and it's consistent. Unplugging and plugging back in does not change it.

Sometimes happened to me when plugged into a power brick instead of the wall

Are you using the Google-provided charger?

In my case- yes. The Google-provided charger and cable remain plugged into the wall near my sofa. I previously posted in this thread that I've had the same thing happen to me, and it was with that charger. Phone warmed up and was taking forever to charge, unplugging the cable from the phone and plugging it back in allowed it to actually charge rapidly and the phone cooled.

Like how Android predicts how much time you have left on a charge, it predicts your charging time left by your current usage. You must've been using it heavily while it was plugged in for a while. If you leave your phone alone for a bit, that 7 hours should go down to 1 or below 1, so don't worry.

Again, not in my case, try again. The cable is just long enough to reach the end table next to my sofa, it's very uncomfortable to try to use it while plugged in there. Mine got warm and showed extended charge time despite the "charging rapidly" indication while sitting idle on the table

I was using stock charger but I was on it some. Crazy I can use that much power for it to take that long to charge but seems like best theory.

Oh... that's weird. I don't know then. Sounds like a hardware defect.
