very slow charging

my s5 is on kitkat and ive noticed a very slow charging rate,it took me about 6 hours to charge from 20%-100% any fix? im also using the default samsung cable that came with the s5

3 possibilities come to mind...

1. Damaged charging cable. Borrow another Samsung cable and try that

2. Battery is wearing out. Borrow another battery and see if that charges OK in your phone.

3. Damaged USB port. If #1 and #2 do not rectify the problem, you need to take it to a Samsung Service point.

i tried using another cable and it charged quite fast so im guessing its the wire problem then,off to change the cable!

now that ive changed a cable after ny phone turns 100% the LED light wouldnt turn green

My s5 was like that out of the box. Called Samsung, no joy. Called AT&T ; had a new battery the next day. Problem solved.
