Sprint Galaxy S8 Very slow LTE speed in my galaxy S8 PLUS

Wanted to see if anyone else was still having problems. Verizon has actually been really helpful in store. We have replaced the sim card, and that didn't help. I'm now on a new s8+. Unfortunately it's looking like the problem is still present. So not sure what else to try....

So to update the people who might still be having issues....I've narrowed down my issue to a particular tower. In one location near my office there a certain tower that I'm connecting to that kills my speeds. When I put it in airplane mode, it'll switch to the other tower nearby and have no issues. I'm still doing my own little investigation of the issue, but so far that's my theory.

These have been my results on "LTE" sitting on my couch at home.

ATT S8 here, also in CA. I'm only seeing 3 ish mbs download speeds on 4G LTE. I didn't even realize my speeds we're slow until I read this thread. How the heck are you guys getting the same speeds on LTE as I get on WiFi!? that's crazy.

I know right? Well, at least good to know another fellow Cali is seeing the same speeds as me? It got down as low as 4.29 download and 2.64 upload. I just got a Ping that was 104 seconds...average is around 27-30, and lowest 16 highest 77.
My home Wifi bumped it up to 85.93 download and 12.52 upload with 16s Ping. Still not close to some of these guys' LTE speeds though! But I'm sure my home internet isn't the fastest anyway...
Wondering if this is a California issue?
I'll try testing outside when I'm not at home to see if it changes.

Do you have anything to compared to? Another AT&T phone in the same spot? If not I'd just say the network isn't that great there.

Well I got this same speed in two towns 30 miles apart so I dunno.

Interesting. I get pretty good speeds on Verizon. Pretty much on point with other phones when in the same location.

I gotta say after seeing all these crazy speeds I was filled with joy seeing this number, albeit it wasn't a foot away from the true capability of the S8+. I think it's a California thing...at least, Bay Area thing.

Testing inside a house is not ideal. You need to be in the open. My speeds seem fine for my LTE. AT&T Unlimited Plus here.

37 Mbps is actually more then fine .

The WiFi speeds own the iPhone 7 Plus too. I only was able to get around 100mbps on my iPhone lol.

I can test with the girlfriend's iPhone 7 Plus soon when she gets home to see if it is different. I'll post back.
