very weird problem.

OK this is probably gonna confuse more than a few of you.

I have a Samsung intercept on virgin mobile with stock rom on crack.

I have it connected to my home network and get internet on all apps and browser EXCEPT YouTube app and Play Store. Those give network errors.

Now, here's the kicker. I have tested wifi on 3 other wifi networks with all apps working. And every so often the apps work great.

So I started watching and paying attention. The 2 apps only stop working when the laptop on the same network is in use.


I have WideOpenWest at 15mb. So I have plenty of speed. And the laptop is only used for Facebook and very lite gaming.

Any guesses as to what's up.

Side note: I called ISP and everything checked out OK. And no way to log into modem that I know of.

Check the IP address (internal) of the laptop and the IP address of the phone. If they're the same, it could be causing problems.

Otherwise (unless the laptop is on Youtube or Play at the same time the phone can't get to them) I'm stumped. (You have 3G off at the time, right?)
