It's a good thing I have half a dozen chargers and I just bought a 45w charger.

I got two 25W ones from Samsung with my accessory credit.

Am I the only one okay with this? Sure, we can mock them for mocking Apple, but ultimately, they did this the right way. Lowered prices and gave plenty of accessory credit to get chargers if you really need a new one, and anyone who doesn't need another charger can spend their credit on something else.

I can live with that.

Totally agree. It's shamefully wasteful to manufacture, package, and distribute tens of millions of chargers when the vast majority are not needed and will never be used. And Samsung's new policy is not even inconsistent with their Apple-mocking a few years ago, because things were different then--not as many people already had the same kind of charger, so its inclusion made more sense back then.

Is 25W the best wattage charger to get to enable the fastest charge for the S21 Ultra? I have my 18W charger from my Pixel 5, would I notice better a tangible improvement in charging and battery performance by getting Samsung's 25W charger?

Well since Sammy no longer thinks you need a charger with your phone, you basically need to just plug in whatever charger you have around from whatever brand, and hope it works with your new Samsung phones charging protocol Or go ahead and order the charger separately from Sammy on top of the price of the phone..... which is what they want you to do anyway.
