Hey all,

This one should've been simple, but I'm stumped.

When I use the volume rocker (I'm on Lollipop) to go down to vibrate, notifications vibrate and make no sound, but if a call comes through, it turns off vibrate and rings with the ring tone.

How do you, in a simple way, make the phone vibrate for calls?

(I actually have an app for profiles and didn't notice this behaviour until a friend asked. I don't want my solution to people to what used to be simple to be "hey, get this profile app I use, spend 10 mins configuring that, and you're good to go!")

Is the app for sound profiles currently installed? Many of the old quick settings toggles, sound control widgets and such are not working properly with Lollipop's new priority notification feature. Try getting rid of the sound profile app, then re-check your settings within the phone dialer. Then restart the phone and test it.

My friend doesn't have the profile app. I tested on a Nexus 4 before and after installing the app.

Bizarrely, I just tested it on another N5 and it worked fine. I'm confused!
