vibrate when receiving message

Does anyone know how to turn this off? Every time I receive a text message, it vibrates twice and plays the notification ringtone. I just want the sound and no vibrate.

Go to settings, Alerts/Sounds, then un-check Vibrate when.... Theres a few options such as messages/calls etc.. As a side note I turn "Haptic Feedback" OFF because I have to believe that every tiny little vibrate is using battery power. Those clicks add up!

Messages app>Menu>Setting>Uncheck Vibrate

Sometimes it really hard to remember which settings are under the global settings page and which ones are app specific! You'll also have to be looking at "All Messages" and not at a specific message to get to the settings of the Messages app.
