vibrate while charging

when charging my D2G through usb to pc i noticed that it does not vibe when i get a new message even though its set to vibe, is there a way to get it to vibe?

Many phones don't vibrate when they're plugged in.

thats absurd-how would you know if you had a message without lookng at it?
it vibes on ring just not for messages
