Vibration keeps turning off

All of a sudden today, my S3 keeps turning off vibration mode a minute or two after I put it on vibrate mode. I do this quite often when I'm at work. I haven't installed any recent apps that I know of that would do this. Any ideas?

If it's happening "all of a sudden" then it's pretty likely that it IS some app that you've installed recently. Let's see - Light Flow; some kind of sound profile; perhaps a 3rd party messaging app; the list could be endless.
Are you putting it in Vibrate mode using the volume rockers, or via one of the Navigation drop-downs, or something else?

I've removed my recent apps installed, and I don't have light flow. What sound profile? I have usually been using the pull down menu on the home screen to put it in vibrate mode. It's odd... it does seem to stay in vibrate mode when i have it off, but as soon as I power it back on, vibrate turns off.

Baffling.
Do your Sound settings look like this?In particular, having "Device vibration" set to "Basic call", and having "Sound and vibration" unchecked?
Not that those are required settings, but that's what I have set at the moment and the vibration setting seems to be working fine.
Are you turning the phone back on using the Power button or the Home button?
What version firmware does your phone have?
I'm grasping at straws here, because it should be working just like you expect it to.
