Vibration notifications not working...

Since the Kitkat update my notification light and vibration alert for emails simply wont work no matter what settings I try. I have also tried Light Flow and many other methods (restarting while plugged in, clearing cache, etc). The sounds work fine, but when I am in class or a meeting that isnt an option, but I also cant miss work emails for hours. Google told me to do a factory reset, I would prefer not to if at all possible...

Nevermind, solved. I removed the updates and reinstalled them and it worked.

Hi I have the same problem. How do I uninstall update?
