Video/Audio lag

After the pie update there is about a 5 second lag between the audio and video of my device on streaming apps. This happens no matter if I'm on wifi or call data and any video quality. No matter what app I am using.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I appear to be having the same issue. It's interesting to note, I got the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 the day it launched and it had the same issues then until they released their first update. I even returned mine and got a new one to be sure it wasn't that unit. Oddly, no one else on the web was talking about it. But they clearly did something to fix it. My fear is this will be a month or two wait for their next update. Where should we go to report this kind of thing. Calling their support was a waste.

I have no problem on my Tab S4. TV, YouTube, and other videos have video and audio synched. Now my Roku app on my TV sometimes gets out of sync.

Any updates? Does anyone tried to factory reset?

My Tab S4 gets video sound delay after sometime being on standby, I noticed switching from HW to HW+ in MX Player (only in MX player) fixes out of sync issue so it looks like it has something to do with audio codecs. Only workaround I found is to restart device

I just got (or noticed) the same issue. Video/audio lag with both the youtube app, netflix and browser youtube. HBO just doesn't work, but HBO downtime is quite common so not sure if hbo's issues are related.
Video freezes for a sec or two, then the video and audio is out of sync.

I have not updated to one ui yet (waiting for them to fix the animation lag first)
Checked my sony xz2c, no problems there. What is going on?

Edit: A restart seems to have fixed it, we'll see how long it lasts tho.

Restart won't last for long, lag will reappear once tablet in standby/sleep
