I just tried to take some video on my Note10+, and theres a few things I noticed and not sure about them.

1- for some reason when I go into the video mode, my screen dims a considerable amount.

2- I can't seem to get the super steady option to work. It is greyed out on my top bar. I tried both top end camera modes.
EDIT: I figured out how to get the steady cam option to work.

3- video quality seems to be pretty bad. Almost like its 480, on the playback even though I recorded it in the highest resolution option available.

Anyone know how to adjust or fix any of these issues? I haven't found any updates in the camera software settings, so I'm not sure what else to check.

Are you saving to sd card or to the phone's memory?

Just double checked and I have a 256GB U3 Samsung SD card.

I'd try shooting a video and saving it to phone storage to see if you get a better result. It may not have anything to do with the card. The card was just the first thought I had.

I'll give it a shot. I didn't know what to check or where to start trying to figure it out.
