video chat apps for GT10.1, wifi only?

How did you get qik up and running? Market says it is not available on my carrier, which is odd since it is the wifi version. Did you sideload it? If so, from where?

No video chat capability via Skype yet (if ever, now since it is owned by Microsoft).

Google Voice/Video chat is a good option and most Android phones should have it with GB update.

Sucks about Skype though since a lot of my international family use that primarily.

Maybe all's not lost. I guess we'll find out in about a day if Facebook comes to the rescue for something browser-based using Skype.

One of the reasons I jumped the gun on getting a tablet now instead of waiting for the likes of Amazon or even Windows 8 is because of the wife's trip overseas soon. I guess I should have checked more carefully about Skype.

Google chat works great for video. Problem is if you're trying to vid chat to a phone, it must be ver 2.3.4.

Wife has a tmo sensation and we're waiting on that update.

So I guess that didn't work out with Facebook. A "your browser is not supported" message when going there from a mobile device.

Tango and Fring are out for me, and I guess Google Talk as well, since I need international Android to PC video chat.

Now what? I have a google+ invite, though I can't get in and I'm not sure if it allows for what I need (free).
