Video downgrade after encryption

Just before my device was encrypted by our ActiveSync admin (wanted to get work mail, contacts, calendar), I was warned that the video resolution would be downgraded from 1080p to 720. I confirmed after the encryption took that, indeed, the max option was now "DVD" quality (720 x 480). Funny, the forward facing cam was still "High Definition" (720p).

Has anyone encountered this? If this was documented, I missed it. Or maybe it's a 'feature' on the ActiveSync end... i imagine they could disable the camera if they wanted?

I use Activesync as well and just checked my video settings. I can still shoot in 1080. Sounds like you companies policy is limiting it in their world. They might be able to disable it but they are not on mine. I know they do on the Blackberrys we use inside our sensitive areas. Only thing thats been pushed out on me is the 15m time out requirement and their ability to wipe my device if it gets lost.
