Have put this in ask a Q section but no replies, so try here.
Can you recommend an app that will allow me to join together 2 or more 8 minute videos into 1 longer video - in phone (and no subscription)?
I'm having to do this because GoPro/quik breaks up longer videos into max of 8 mins 52 seconds!

The built-in video editor should do the trick. You might have to download it from the Galaxy store if you haven't edited a video yet (Video Editor).

Thanks. The Samsung video player can only edit 1 video but I did find the Samsung movie maker so I'll give that a try.

only downside is that they are canceling it after Android P according to the message or gave me.

My apologies, that's the one I was thinking about! Also, not sure if that's there for the Note 8 or not (should be, though...), but if you select two/more videos at the same time on the Gallery, you should see a 'Create Movie' option from the menu button that prompts that app to run and automatically splice the videos together.

Yeah that is a bummer. For mobile editing it is a pretty good program.
