video pic app low mms video

is there an app that allows you to record video at low res for sending mms? i know i can hit the paperclip thing in a txt and record video to send but what if i want to send from email to a phone? so i need an app to record video in low res.

No one's really worked on it, but if you go into the native movie editor app, you can cut out parts and reduce the video quality

You can already do that from the phone. Camera>Settings Icon>Press the 3 dots>Picture Size>Press the arrow to choose video resolution (QVGA for MMS). It's not the easiest to get to but if you know ahead of time, it's there to use.

that works on the pics but not on video that i could see the lowest setting is 480 p

It definitely works for video also. I'm in the video app now using the directions I posted before and the setting is there. As noted above, press the < or > to the right of the resolution to cycle through the choices. For MMS QVGA is the one you want. I will post a video later to show you.

on the stock camera app? i wonder if i have an old version or something because when i switch to video it just gives me 3 options listed 1080 720 and 480 and when i click the 3 menue dots it just askes me to restore defaults or turn on or off store location in the pic mode i can change it down to the lower settings. qvga vga and what not..

I am a total idiot! I was in the camera portion of the app and not video. You are correct, that only goes to 480p. :-[
