Video playback turns dark

Anyone record a video and on playback the video is dark?
I know that the video itself is not dark because it starts off bright like how is supposed to be, but then it turns dark.
I've tried bumping the brightness up to 100% but still it turns dark.

What do you all reckon?

Do you have auto brightness on? Also try not to cover the sensor at the top to the right of the speaker. I have noticed this with a few apps not just video.

Was having the same problem. Then I found this. While playing video on the top right corner click the menu icon ,menu bar opens
and on the bottom click settings

Thank you! I see it, got it fixed.
I was trying to figure what was going on,
Still got to learn the little ins and outs of this phone.
But man the video is incredible, quality is superb .
