Video plays on phone but it won't on computer?

Hi all,

I took video of my son and after I transferred it on computer no player will play it ie. VLC, Nero player, Quicktime...
It plays just fine on phone.
Any idea what is wrong here?

what format did you record in? I know one is 3GP and the other makes a MP4.

It was in .3GPP can I change it somewhere? It would really suck if I can't play/convert it to any format on my PC.

guess I was wrong no matter the compression the output is still a 3GP file. You may want to try Handbrake to convert them or just plug in a HDMI cable to your TV and view it on a big screen

sigh, let me get back to you. I remember I took a video with the Evo and I coulda sworn it was mp4 because I showed it to someone at work with quicktime.

Edit: I guess its 3GP only now. I swear it used to let you choose before maybe in 2.1 or before the update?

I use Mobile Media Converter. Free at miksoft.net. Works fast.
