Video quality on Facebook& YouTube?

So I just got the S5 and I've noticed very bad playback quality of video in my news feed and on you tube. This occurs on WiFi and on Network.

Even the photos on Facebook are quite grainy and low quality.

Is this normal for this device and is there a way to fix this? Thanks

From what I noticed. Facebook has no way to change video settings. YouTube on the other hand if you look at the bottom has a way to change it to HD.
