I have been using a few GoPros inside my car, mounted with jaw clamps to record some of my driving adventures. I control the these camera remotely via the Smart Remote for GoPro. Mostly it works ok.

Just got my S20 Ultra a few days ago, and god damm the picture/video quality is phenomenal!

Does anybody know, if there is a way I could setup my S20 ultra phone in my car via a clamp of some sort like the GoPro Jaw clamp and have it start recording videos remotely via an app or remote, or voice command etc?

We had a similar thread a while back, problem is Samsungs camera app automatically closes after a few minutes of activity.

Only thing I can think of that would actually work is Bixby voice commands because they can wake the phone, launch the camera, and start recording.

I just tried hi Bixby start recording video and the camera app opened and began recording video with the settings I normally use.

Tried Ok Google start recording video and it first asked me what app, then when it opened it didn't start recording. For the life of me I don't understand why so many Samsung users disable Bixby and use Googles joke of an assistant.

I use Bixby, regularly, could never get on with Assistant.

Bixby is great for device based tasks Google for everything else.

There's a bunch of apps that turn the phone into a dash cam. Using Google, you can launch them. Using Samsung Routines would enable you to have it activate under anyone of many triggers such as connecting to your car, etc.
Good luck.
