Video recorded in landscape is saved portrait

Title says it all. I am recording video in landscape and it saves as portrait. There does not appear to be a rotate option like photos. I also can't find a relevant setting. I feel like a newbie and I'm not. Thanks all. Bob

In hindsight I must have started the video with the phone upright. It locks into portrait or landscape when you start the recording. Sorry all. Bob

I had this same issue on my LG G2 yesterday. The irony is I did a part of the recording with the stock camera and the other one with Google camera. The one with Google camera turned out properly oriented so I think it is a bug in the camera app.
I have recorded some other videos that were ok with the stock camera as well.
Maybe it was a way that I held the camera when auto rotate is active.
