Video recorder closes on its own

Just like the title says. I try and record hd and after two seconds it closes. Doesn't do it for the camera on the screen side. Doesn't do it when not trying hd. I am confused as to what is going on. I am using EVOlvedROM_r3chargeD_RC1 and this is the only problem I have noticed and I have been using it for weeks. What could the issue be?

Have you rebooted/restarted your phone? or tried taking the battery out. I noticed that HTC phones sometimes act odd like that if you have a lot of things running in the background or just for the hell of it haha

Yeah I did try that. I read somewhere about some roms jot being able to shoot 720p but I cannot remember where it is.

I had a similar issue and read that clearing out all my old videos (backing up to your pc) would help, and it did. It was odd b/c I had memory left. Worth a try
