Video recording interrupted

I was recording some video's this weekend when I got a few text messages and phone calls and other notifications which stopped the recording. Is there an option somewhere to have the video's to continue to record? Thanks.

Best Bet in my opinion is to just turn your radio off when recording if it's that important

they're probably referring to Airplane Mode

disables all communications from being sent/received by the phone.
you're basically holding an interactive paperweight
functions of the phone are still in tact, you just can't text/call anyone.

menu>settings>wireless & networks>airplane mode (check)
