Video recording on 4k stutters heavily

Anyone know how to fix this? It's horrible!

Videos stutter on my S8 as well--all resolutions not just 4k. I have not been able to figure out how to correct.

try to turn off the software based image stabilization if you can, and leave it up to the mechanical IS.

Is optical IS always on? And software IS is the settings option? Apparently it can't be turned on while tracking AF is on.

I watched a video that showed that it's best to turn off software IS. It caused really bad stuttering.
