Last night I was in a small gymnasium trying to record a jazz band and as I started the video I found myself tapping on the screen to focus, but it didn't because it was as focused as it was going to get and it was AWFUL.... I am wondering if I had a setting wrong or what - or if I had reached the limit of the camera... And if so, err... Wow. It was like watching video optimized for mms messages. Someone give me some guidance here?

I hate to be that guy... But is it possible that you have/had something blurring the lens? Maybe a protective film?

Haha, I don't mind you being that guy - I always clean my lens before I use the camera, so that wasn't it...

are you recording in 60FPS? I noticed when switching from 30fps to 60fps it gets a little blurry in 1080p
