video resize

When I send a video via text it resizes properly. However, for some reason the system is making me resize the video twice before sending and then saving two resized versions of the video. I tried clearing the data and cache of video app with no luck. Any ideas?

This started after the 5.1 update

I find generating a link from Dropbox is a better way to send large files like video's.

Thanks. I periodically send videos via text though and it's annoying with the double resizing

Even if I do share it through messages by Google photos or Dropbox it still gives me a message that the file size is way to large and needs to be resized
