videos not in full screen

I was ready to buy my first tablet until I heard that videos/movies don't play in full sceen.Can anyone confirm this.I normally use netflix or HBO go.

They do in fact play in full screen. If the movie is native letterbox it will default to that; however, you just have to hit the "expand to screen" button in the top right corner.

HBOgo doesnt work with android tablets yet. I dont know when it will but hopefully soon. If the Nexus 7 is a success in sales then it will happen.

Depends on the app. Some apps, like youtube, use the proper full screen method for smaller devices with soft buttons. Other apps will fullscreen, except for the navigation bar. Hulu Plus does that.
