View GS3 Screen From Mac or PC?

I've searched and found articles on how to do this out there on the internet but doesn't the GS3 connect differently to a Mac/PC than other Android phones?

I've also seen how to connect and view an Android screen from a PC but not a Mac.

Wondering if anyone out there with a Mac is doing this and how you did it. Thanks!
