View Master VR

I just got the View Master VR for Christmas and am enjoying it so far. I have three gripes about it, though; 1) no strap (I know I can make one and intend to), 2) need to remove the case or my Note 5 doesn't fit properly (I have a new Spigen case for it and don't want to ruin it by constantly removing and replacing it), and 3) the latch flops open at inopportune times. Outside of those things, I'm very happy with it.

Anyone else have this? Anyone have any mods or hacks to make it even better?
