Viewing pictures on computer

Why is it that when I connect my phone to my computer and browse to a picture folder, I can't see the image? I have to open each file in order to find the files I want to transfer from the phone.

Because this phone uses mtp and ptp as its storage solution. Older phones used the the old standard that showed the storage as a true external sd card and was able to view the thumbnails.

Your only good solution is to remove the sdcard from the phone and use a card reader.
