Viper4android permission denied

Can someone tell what I'm doing wrong. I recently flashed viperone latest update after restoring phone. I can't seem to get irs files into the kernel folder using v4a. The file explore gives me a permission denied failure. It worked on previous versions and now it doesn't.

Did look in the settings of the file explorer you may need to change the settings to allow root

Did that but it is still not working, I even flashed a different rom.
