Virus in my phone?

Feels like my phone has virus, it is kinda slow and consumes a lot battery. Is it possible to get virus from some websites?

Not really unless you've gone into your security permissions and enabled the ability to install apps from unknown sources and you've rooted your phone.

You would most likely know if you had a virus. If you went into a website that looked sketchy and clicked on an ad or some such, that's one thing. But the battery getting hot and the phone being slow could have a few other causes.

How old is your device? How long does it take to charge on average? Have you downloaded any new apps; especially around the time that these slow-downs started happening?
