I seem to think its XHelper, currently this phone is in Safe mode with install from unknown sources off, I'll keep you lot updated if it comes back, but if it does, what should I do?

I found a couple threads on other sites making noise about Xhelper, but no security blogs or anything talking about it. So my first question is if this is really a virus, a misunderstood system app, or something else.

If it installs again in safe mode, then I'd factory reset the phone and manually install apps one at a time to see if you find a culprit. Given that this is a cheap knockoff brand, I wouldn't put it past the manufacturer to have adware/malware baked into the OS itself or to trigger the installation of such apps on its own. We've seen that happen before on them.

'ight, ive factory restarted it multiple times before this, i just forgot to mention it, thanks for the help though mate!

Just noticed something about my storage
The phonestotal memory is 8gbs, but the only free amount of space of 82MB,
And also an app called "com.mufc.fire.uvw"
Any idea on what that is?

Update: I've found something on the phone, but no clue what it is its called "com.mufc.uvw" any ideas on what that is? I used to have a old phone with a virus called "com.google.provision" so im kind of skeptical.

Sorry, but I can't fully answer either of those.

My guess is that the storage issue is because it's partitioned between OS, apps, and/or user storage. 8 GB is so small as to be almost unusable today, so not surprising you're about out of space.

As for the mysterious app, it could be a system app or malware for all I know. Manufacturers have all sorts of proprietary names for their core apps that are generally not meant to be accessed by the referral public. You could try a Google search, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Support (from either the manufacturer or other users) is questionable for those knockoff brands.

the altogether value of the main amount of apps and os is 5.6GBS tho, maybe the virus has took it up, but also, I cannot find anything about the com.whateverandwhatnot.whatever so really, im more clueless than 50 rats in a fancy house.
