I'm trying to restore all of my accounts on my network Note 8. I've done so on almost all except my email. I only able to log into my email by using a web page that obviously remembered my password from the data transfer from old phone to new. Problem is, it only shows astrics and I need my password so I can send an email out insted. Is there a way to completely turn off all password astrics? I really do not want to try and go through the hassle of a password reset. Reason is, I also got a new number so, it isn't as easy as them texting me a reset code. Instead, Hotmail is making me answer a ton of questions and it's kicking my butt.

HELP!!!!

Unfortunately those locks are in place for a reason: to secure your information. There is no way to turn off secure input for passwords. Some poorly coded apps allow copying/pasting the actual text string from the password field onto a text note but I really doubt this is the case with your e-mail.

If you have forgotten your password, you'll have to work with Hotmail to get it back and unless you either answer all the questions or provide the same number used for recovery, they'll ask for even more things to verify you are, indeed, the owner of the account. And that's a good thing.

Sorry we can't be of much help, but security should not be easy to bypass.
