Visual voice Mail

I was trying to use the VVM , using the icon on the Droid, but its telling me that I'm ineligible for that feature ? Do I have to change my plan in order to get it?

They should have added it to your plan when you bought it. So yeah I think you need to add it. Its $3

As far as I know Visual Voice Mail is an additional $5 per month charge from Verizon.

I called customer service and the representative told me that the Droid is ineligible ????

Not true as I have it on my phone. In fact the lady at the store said it comes by default. You might want to call again and double check got someone who obviously didn't know.

it's $3, and it for sure works on the droid.

i wish they would stop hiring idiots in retail.

Can't you use a third party app from the Market place for free? $3 a month for VV. That is sad.

if you get into google voice, that works.

before i used that though, i used youmail. they have an app in the marketplace and it's free. works really well.

I know it is off topic, but how well does google voice integrate with this phone?

Do text mesaages get routed to the messaging app with notifications? Or does it just run under the Google Voice App?

everyone seems to generally get in at some point. it can take a few weeks at the longest i'd guess.
