I.have this through Verizon. my phone is rooted, can i cancel with them and still have it?

Don't think so. I prefer google voice. It's free and had a lot more optons.

I would cancel it and get google voice. As stated above its free, offers visual voice and a lot of other options. You can even check your voice mail from a computer .
