I have visual voice mail turned on on my TMobile MT4G but it doesn't seem to show you which voice emails are new. I have about 10 in my in box that I've kept and they are in date order but sometimes I listen to them out of order. On some phones I note that they are BOLD until they are read or a different color. These are all the same. Read - unread. No difference.
Also there doesn't seem to be a way to backup while you are listening to the voice mail. (think iPhone slider). Odd. I guess just want confirmation this is they way it's suppose to work or suggestions?

I have a slider on mine. And it bolds unread messages. Did you get the visual voicemail app for T-Mobile from the market? That's the one I use. The only problem I noticed was that it wont download voicemails while I'm on wifi.

I use the one that came with the phone, it works with WiFi. But once in a while, when I open it, it says "This voicemail account was associated with a different number. All previous voicemails will be deleted" or some crap like that. The weird part is that it works and does not erase any of my messages. Maybe somehow my account is recognized different when I'm on WiFi comparing with cell tower signal???? Very confusing.

Google voice is good. The problem is I got charges $48 one month for call forwarding. Everytime a Cal went to voicemail it counted as a forward. $.45 each time.

As for your vvm problem I'm not sure because I had to get the app from the market and it might not be the same.

I tried to install the VVM from the Market when I first got this phone as I was looking for the "delete multiple/all" feature. When I did, it read I was trying to install a duplicate app or something along those lines. I miss that in T-Mos' VVM.

I tried Google voice all of 2 days and deleted it quickly.

I have only the original OS installed and the TMobile VVM so I am not sure I should expect what you have or? I had them turn on the VMM at Tmobile (which I didn't know I needed to do as it has a box to tick in settings to do that but no mention you had to also call) and I get a icon (picture if Facebook has matched it) of the caller and date. Then when a message comes in, along side the icon box or picture there is a sliver of a colored bar (mines blue) that denotes a new call. But no slider to replay message. There is a progress bar and a pause/play icon but not a way to control the progress bar beyond that. Guess that's what I need to live with.

Thanks for all the help.
