Visual Voicemail - does it work??

Can anyone get Visual Voicemail working? I just switched and the VV app won't work. I do have VV built in to my Google Phone app. Anyone have any advice?

VV is something each carrier does differently, so the VV app for one carrier may not work on another carrier. (Even Google Voice, when used with a Pixel 2, doesn't do it. their system, their phone, but no compatibility. They email you a link to the recording.)

It will (kinda) work. It will eventually pop up. It will kinda play, stopping and starting. I will kinda turn some of the words spoken into text.

It's a poor substitute for the VV from other carriers, but it will do something when you get VM...

Thanks. I did recently reinstall the VV app and it does seem to be working. Not nearly as good at others, but at least I can figure out who called and what they said.
