Hey all. Wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

When listening to visual voicemail, and lifting the phone to my ear to hear the voice mails, the screen does not turn off, so when my ear or face touch the screen things get accidentally clicked.

The sensor does work when I am on a phone call.

Anyone else have this issues?

This has been the case with every Samsung flagship for years, as far as I've experienced.

I guess it's a Samsung thing, and it really doesn't make any sense. I rarely listen to voicemails without converting to speaker phone and cranking up the volume.
I usually read them, but I've had this issue and sometimes you want to listen to the voicemail in private because you are around people, so this working right would be nice.

When listening to a visual voicemail or on call the screen turns off to the ear on my unlocked T-Mobile version.

Well. The factory reset lasted all of 2 days. Now it's not working again. Not sure what if anything I can do.

I can tell you from years of experience, it's a Motorola problem as well, I thought it was just them.
