Does thus phone have Visual Voicemail? That's one thing I do love about my iPhone.

Download Google Voice.....it?s the same thing.......you just have to set it up online as well..... I like that I can read or listen to my voicemails from the website...Google voice.....and I can do this from work where I am not allowed to have a cell phone

I don't know if my friends are a bunch of mumblers or "low talkers" (anyone remember that Seinfeld episode, LOL ) but Google Voice does a horrible job of transcribing my voicemails. The results are usually hilarious, but also entirely incomprehensible. Having said that, I love Google Voice for the international calling, the ability to forward all my phone numbers to one number, and the free texting. But the talk-to-text aspect is a joke.

Am I the only one who finds Google voice almost useless as a reliable voicemail system??? Half the time I won't get a voicemail for upwards of a half an hour. I set it up to send me a text, so at least I will get the ridiculously mistranslated version so I know one came in, but I still can't actually get my voicemail because it won't show up on the google voice app. Once it does show up, sometimes it won't play it until I go in and out of the app a couple of times. I've tried reinstalling, but still does the same. I've seen others with these issues. Is it standard on the infuse or did I just get (un)lucky?

I also like Youmail a lot. Had it on my BB, you can set it to send you email and/or text messages for a missed call, voicemail, whatever. Very convenient, and sound quality is good.

When you go into the app, hit the menu button and then compose.

Can anyone explain how to do SMS with Google Voice? I must be missing something because I don't understand how to set it up.

I would like not to have to pay for texting, .20 cents a piece is not much but somehow deterrent to answer my friends text.
