Vivitar Neckbuds won't connect to calls just audio and input device

I just purchased a pair of Vivitar wireless neckbuds and I have paired, unpaired and paired again with the only outcome being that they will connect for audio and input device. I've never seen input device on any other headset, earbud, etc. in the settings it shows calls but it is grayed out.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have any other Bluetooth devices connected that might be competing for the Call Audio connection?

I checked that too, no other device is showing available.

What's the exact model number of the neckbuds?

Also, can you test them on a different phone as well?
