Vizio Tablet- might be a low cost winner-first thoughts

I love this tablet. It has potential. I wish some devs would see the potential and get root for this tab. Porting honeycomb or even ics when it drops would be bad @$$. The for the money, and we'll worth it. I originally bought it to be my ereader.

I'm a little late to this conversation and looking for some feedback.
How many of you have more than one tablet for one person?
I finally started looking for one for myself and found only two of these Vizio available anywhere near me so snapped one up and so far it's easy to use. Not much different than my D3 really.
I can't seem to find how to transmit a file from it using the Bluetooth. It connects but the option doesn't open up.

Ok, my dilemma, in my search i also found a Lenovo k1 on sale and it's obviously bigger, weight seems close. The color and display is sharper, the Vizio has a much warmer color tone. I'm really liking the k1 but see pros and cons to both.

I'm trying to decide which to keep.
Do I really need to keep the Vizio because of it's size and remote app?
Will it actually get updated? I downloaded Swype onto the Lenovo but haven't tried on vizio yet.
I do like the split keyboard on the vizio when you turn it sideways.

sorry for the rambling, I'm liking the k1 better for Web and apps but wonder how comfortable it will ultimately be for reading a book.

Anyone on Dish Network? Wondering how/if Dish Online plays on this. I believe Dish Online is Hula based, so "should" play.

Also, how "bad" are the viewing angles? I tried an Acer 100A and the "acceptable" viewing angle in portrait was about 5 degrees... so I returned it.

Dishonline works fine for me watching their streaming content but it will not work with the Sling Adapter attached to my 722 (nor will Chrome on my PC).

I just got the Vizio tablet and have one problem. Using overdrive media console to download ebooks from the library they don't read correctly. The pages overlap from screen to screen. I have a Droidx2 cell and it works perfectly on it. Both the phone and tablet are running android 2.3 Any ideas, please. Can you eliminate the via plus 1.4 ?

I know im a little late with this post in the topic, but I bought 2 of the 8" tabs for my kids for xmas. Got them at BJs for under $200 each. I think they are great for the price. Plays all the kid games like angry birds without a hitch. I did get 4gb sd cards for them. Like the OP said, you cant compare these to the galaxy or ipad, but imho this maybe the best sub $200 tablet on the market. Probably your best bang for your buck as well. That is of course, not counting big sales like when BB had the asus for $250. Anyway, just my $.02 fwiw

Can anyone confirm that the Vizio Tablet has full GPS capability even when not connected to Wi-Fi? In addition to real time directions, will it let you search for places of interest in the area? Thanks
