Do you have VoLTE/Advanced Calling 1.0 enabled?

Oh I didn't check that, how do I check if I have it enabled or not?

I'm not sure of the exact settings on the V10. It's in the Cellular network setting on my current device.

You'll also have to make sure it's enabled on the line.

Log into the your account in the Verizon Wireless app.
Select the line you want to enable Advanced Calling 1.0 on.
Manage Features
Scroll down to Advanced Calling 1.0 and Add This Feature (or Enable).

Also - What phone did you come from previously?

On the V10 it has its own setting under the first section in settings, Wireless Networks.

Is there any extra charge for the advanced calling? The Verizon employee who sold me my v10 warned me against ok'ing any verizon advanced features. She said even verizon texting program charges data!

So problem again, data won't work when I'm on a call. Advanced calling is activated. I'm with Verizon.
Idk why this is happening
Help guys?

You also need to turn it on, on the phone itself. Try "Settings / Advanced Calling" (that's where it is on my LG G4)

I did try to reboot and I did turn it on the phone.
That option on the phone is grayed out, it says the service is upgraded. So I know it's activated.

If you do not have access to the 4G LTE network, as in the location you are in only has 3G service, you cannot use Voice and data at the same time.

Although most resources indicate the LG V10 uses CDMA technology, the reality is that the LG V10 as many newly released phones no longer have both a CDMA antenna and an LTE antenna in order to save space and costs. Therefore without the 4G LTE network, the LTE like the CDMA antenna, cannot do voice and data.
Despite the fact that CDMA technology is being abandoned by both Verizon and Sprint the two main carriers who use it, they've run into this small glitch that customers who do not have access, or consistent access to a 4G LTE network have taken a step backwards, not forward in their technology advancement.
