Voice dictation microphone disappeared from keyboard

S6 Phone. I am using the Samsung keyboard.

Found the answer.

I have been disappointed with this phone. This is supposed to be the best?

Can freeze, software isn't intuitive.

After upgrading to the S25 Ultra from the Note 20 Ultra, I notice there's no longer a microphone in the keyboard. I haven't been able to find it anywhere and was hoping someone has an easy fix that I just can't figure out.

At the time of its release, it was one of the best. But that was 10 years ago. Tech advances quickly, and what was state of the art in the past will become obsolete after about 5-6 years at the most. In addition, that phone likely has some significant security flaws that were never patched, since it stopped getting updates around 2017-2018, so I would suggest recycling it and upgrading to a more current phone.

Not sure why I said it is an S6...it is an S24.

Freezing isn't necessarily due to the system or hardware. 3rd party apps can cause system instability. If the freezes are happening often, you can try booting into Safe Mode to see if they go away: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003495/
